Ted Ware brings over 40 years of Wyoming community banking experience to his role as Regional Managing Director at Tanager Bank, including most recently serving as President of Uinta Bank, where he helped restore profitability, improve regulatory standing, and expand the bank’s reach with a new loan production office in Rock Springs.
His expertise spans commercial and consumer lending, regulatory compliance, CAMEL rating improvement, internal loan review, policy development, and acquisition due diligence.
As President of Rocky Mountain Bank, Ted grew the institution from $60 million to $240 million in assets, opened three branches, and raised capital through two private placements. During his twelve-year tenure as President of American National Bank of Rock Springs, he led the bank to be recognized among the top 50 most profitable banks in America.
A former National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Ted specialized in problem bank supervision and turnaround management, giving him a uniquely informed perspective on both regulatory expectations and the strategies needed to build strong, resilient community banks.
